73 Free Login Page Templates: HTML & CSS Login Forms 2026
These free login page templates cover the sign-in screens most websites and apps need, from simple HTML and CSS login forms to split-screen, glassmorphism, passkey, one-time code and single sign-on designs.
The list now holds 73 entries. It opens with ten login pages we built in 2026, including passwordless sign-in with a passkey or an emailed link, a two-step email-then-password flow, a six-digit code screen and a combined log in and sign up card. Below them are 61 earlier Colorlib login forms, our uiCookies set of ten login screens and a free WordPress plugin for restyling the wp-admin login page.
All the Colorlib templates are free downloads with live demos. They were rebuilt as responsive, dependency-free HTML, CSS and a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, so they need no jQuery or Bootstrap files and work on their own or inside Bootstrap 4, 5 and 6 projects.
License: the Colorlib templates are free for personal and commercial projects under CC BY 3.0, as long as you keep the credit link. The uiCookies set and the WordPress plugin come with their own licenses. After the list you will find a short tutorial for building a basic HTML login form, tips on what makes a good login page and answers to common questions.

New for 2026: Free Colorlib Login Page Templates
Ten login pages we designed and built in 2026, covering the patterns modern sign-in screens use: passkey and magic-link sign-in, a two-step email then password flow, a one-time code screen, SSO buttons and a combined log in and sign up card. Each is a free download with a live demo, in plain HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript.
Login Page V01: Split-screen login with a full-height photo and testimonial

A full-page sign-in for a made-up hiking route planner, with the form on the left and a tall mountain photo on the right. The photo carries a customer quote and a small stat pill, and collapses to a short banner above the form on phones. The form has two social buttons, email and password with a show/hide toggle, and a keep-me-signed-in option.
Best for: SaaS and consumer app sign-in pages that want a brand photo beside the form. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 377 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Login Page V02: Minimal centred login card with passkey and magic-link options

A small, monochrome sign-in card for a made-up notes app, centred on a dotted background. It offers a passkey button first, then email and password, and a link that switches the form into magic-link mode. In link mode the password field is removed and the button emails a one-time sign-in link instead.
Best for: modern SaaS and productivity apps moving towards passwordless sign-in. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 189 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Login Page V03: Dark SaaS login with an animated gradient border and SSO buttons

A dark sign-in page for a made-up incident response tool, with a slowly rotating violet-to-cyan border around the card on a faint grid. It stacks Google, GitHub and SAML single sign-on buttons above a work email and password form. The SAML button opens a company-domain field in place, as a disclosure.
Best for: developer tools, B2B SaaS and dashboards with a dark brand. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 156 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Login Page V04: Glassmorphism login card over a vivid photo

A frosted-glass sign-in card for a made-up colour library app, floating over a bright paint-swirl photo with a short brand message beside it. The glass uses backdrop-filter with a solid purple card as the fallback, and also when the visitor asks for reduced transparency. The form has email, password with a show/hide toggle, remember me and three icon-only social buttons.
Best for: creative tools, portfolios and consumer apps with a bold visual brand. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 323 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Login Page V05: Two-step login: email first, then password, with a Not you? way back

An account-provider style sign-in for a made-up suite of mail, calendar and drive apps. The first step asks only for the email, then a short loading bar leads to the password step, which shows the account as a chip with a Not you? button. The wide card puts the heading on the left and the fields on the right, and stacks on phones.
Best for: apps with one account across several products, and identity-first sign-in flows. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 128 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Login Page V06: One-time code verification screen with six digit boxes

A two-factor verification screen for a made-up banking app, with six separate digit boxes, a small phone-and-shield illustration and a chunky outlined card. Typing advances to the next box, Backspace steps back, arrow keys move, and pasting or autofilling a whole code fills every box and verifies. A resend button counts down from 30 seconds before it can be used again.
Best for: two-factor sign-in, phone verification and passwordless login steps. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 171 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Login Page V07: Mobile-app style login in a phone-sized frame with a demo Face ID button

A native-app style sign-in for a made-up running app, shown inside a phone frame on desktop and full screen on real phones. A coral header with a route line and run stats sits above a white bottom sheet with large 58 px fields, a stay-logged-in switch and big buttons. The Use Face ID button is clearly marked as a demo and only plays a short simulated scan.
Best for: mobile web apps, PWAs and app-store landing pages that preview the app's login. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 205 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Login Page V08: Illustrated, friendly login with a Caps Lock warning

A cheerful sign-in for a made-up plant-care app, with a hand-drawn SVG plant pot on a peach panel beside the form. The pot's face shuts its eyes while you type a hidden password and opens them when you show it. A yellow speech-bubble warning appears under the password when Caps Lock is on.
Best for: consumer apps, kids and hobby communities, and brands with a playful voice. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 375 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Login Page V09: Enterprise admin console login with workspace URL, region and status link

A strict, square-cornered sign-in for a made-up admin console, with a header bar that links to the status page and a footer with version and legal links. The form asks for a workspace URL with https:// and .corely.io affixes, a work email and a password, plus keep-me-signed-in and a data region picker. A company SSO button, an authorised-use notice and a session summary on success complete the enterprise feel.
Best for: B2B admin panels, internal tools and multi-tenant SaaS consoles. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 203 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Login Page V10: Log in and create-account switcher on one card

A single card for a made-up habit tracker that holds both the log-in and the sign-up form, switched by a segmented control with a sliding thumb. The control is a proper tablist with arrow keys, Home and End, and each panel slides in from the side it was chosen from. Links under each form jump to the other tab and put focus in its first field.
Best for: apps that want sign-in and sign-up on one page, modals and onboarding screens. Plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, a 377 KB download, and it works on its own or inside a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.

If you would rather build a login form yourself, the tutorial below walks through a basic one step by step.
How to create an HTML login form?
I will show you how to create a basic HTML login form using only HTML, CSS, and a small amount of JavaScript. I won’t delve too deeply into HTML and CSS, as I have already covered the basics.
To get started, you will need a simple text editor, such as Notepad, Sublime, or Atom. You can use specialized development environments, such as Visual Studio Code, but that will be overkill for such a simple task.

Step #1 – Create a new folder
Create a new folder on your desktop or in another location on your computer. For the sake of example, we will name it Login form. That’s where you will store HTML and CSS files.

Step #2 – Create necessary files (HTML, CSS, JS)
Create 3 new files in the folder that we created and call them index.html, style.css and script.js.

Step #3 Apply HTML code
Open index.html file using a text editor of your choice, copy/paste the code below, and save changes.
HTML Code is available here.
It is simple HTML code with all the necessary forms to create a login page. You can modify it according to your needs.
Step #4 Apply CSS
Write the necessary CSS code to make your login form presentable. Usually, the design is created in Adobe Photoshop, Figma or Sketch and then cut into HTML CSS. In our case, you can use our example CSS code and modify it based on your requirements.
Add this CSS code in the style.css that we created earlier and save the file.
CSS Code is available here.
Step #5 Apply JavaScript
Add the following code inside script.js file that we created in the Step #2
document.querySelectorAll('.message a').forEach(function (link) {
link.addEventListener('click', function (event) {
event.preventDefault();
document.querySelectorAll('form').forEach(function (form) {
form.style.display = getComputedStyle(form).display === 'none' ? 'block' : 'none';
});
});
});
That’s it! Open index.html file in your web browser to see if everything looks like in the screenshot above.
You should now have a simple HTML/CSS login form with a password reset feature, which you can further modify to your requirements.
What makes a good login page
Let browsers and password managers fill it in. Use a real form with an email or username field and set autocomplete=”username” and autocomplete=”current-password”, so saved logins fill in with one tap. Login Page V01 does this, and Login Page V06 adds autocomplete=”one-time-code” so a code from a text message fills all six boxes at once. Never block pasting into the password field.
Help people type the password right. A show/hide toggle cuts failed attempts, especially on phones. Most of the 2026 login pages include one, with aria-pressed so screen readers announce whether the password is visible, and Login Page V08 also warns when Caps Lock is on.
Show errors at the right moment, in words. Check a field when the visitor leaves it or submits the form, not on the first keystroke, and put the message next to the field as text rather than relying on a red border. Login Page V01 and V03 work this way and announce errors in a polite status region. On the server, say that the email or password is incorrect rather than which one, so the form does not reveal which accounts exist.
Offer a way in without a password. Passkeys and emailed sign-in links are now common on apps. Login Page V02 switches between password, passkey and magic-link sign-in, Login Page V05 asks for the email first and the password second, and Login Page V03 and V09 add single sign-on for company accounts.
Design for the phone first. Many sign-ins happen on a small screen, so keep touch targets large and the layout short. Login Page V07 uses 48 to 58 px touch targets, brings up the email keyboard and turns off auto-capitalization, and Login Page V01 turns its side photo into a short banner on phones.
Frequently asked questions
Are these login page templates free for commercial use?
Yes. The Colorlib templates are free for personal and commercial projects under the CC BY 3.0 license; keep the credit link to Colorlib in place. The uiCookies set and the WordPress Login Customizer plugin have their own licenses, so check their download pages.
Do I need Bootstrap or jQuery?
No. Each Colorlib login form is plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript for things like the password toggle and validation. It works on its own and looks the same when you drop it into a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project.
Will a template log people in on its own?
No. A login page template is the front end only. To sign people in, point the form’s action at your own server-side login code or an authentication service, send it over HTTPS and check the password on the server. The social, passkey, Face ID and SSO buttons in the 2026 demos are simulated and need connecting to a real provider.
How do I make a login page in HTML from a template?
Download a template, open its HTML file in a code editor (you can rename it login.html) and change the text, links and form action. Then adjust the colors, fonts and background image in the CSS, and open the page in a browser to check it. The tutorial above shows how to build a basic login form from an empty folder instead.
For a modern app sign-in, start with Login Page V02 for passkey and magic-link sign-in or Login Page V05 for a two-step flow. For a quick classic form, Login Form 1 by Colorlib and Login Form V01 are easy to restyle. To match the rest of your site’s forms, see our Bootstrap form templates.

Unfortunately, these are just plain HTML/CSS login forms that you can’t use directly on your WordPress website. These login forms doesn’t have their own functionality and are just created for inspiration or to be taken its code and ported to web apps and CMS such as WordPress.
I know how to make these log in page designs to work on WordPress and any websites. Just a few CSS codes no HTML no JAVASCRIPT…… “Just CSS codes”
We are interested in using 1 of the login form/template for a web-application which we plan to develop. The web application is going to be built on Asp. Net5/MVC6/AngularJS2. How do we integrate it with our app’s login page, do we need to buy it or could you please let us know how to proceed?
Early response is much appreciated
you should probably know how to do that before you make a web app
You can download the template and integrate in your app in case you need help, feel free to reply
Thank you very much for sharing these log in forms. more ideas to come! god bless ! 🙂
Hi. I got a question. How do I connect the Login Form to WordPress so I can access with a WordPress User and Password with this customized Login Form?
Alvaro,
There is no easy way to just install and activate these to be used for WordPress. You will need to port it to be used for WordPress. Much simpler solution would be to use something like these plugins that that will help you to customize WordPress login without touching any code.

Brenda
Hello, first of all thank you.
I have a question, in the third example (Floating Sign Up Form) what could i do to have the Log In instead of the Sign Up as preselected option? I’ve been trying some thing but due to my low skills in js I can not make it.
Thank you,
Francisco
Francisco,
These templates comes without any support. You can always hire a developer on Upwork that can do the necessary modifications for this form.
Dear All,
They are free for a limited time or for a long time?
Are you taking information about users(user / password/ Fb/ etc/) ?
Is it possible to modify existing?
Best regards,
Patrick
They are just free. No contacts, no emails or whatever, just free templates. Just make sure to spread a word about them whenever you can as that’s all we ask.
I still haven’t seen the eye-catching style in front of me
I want to know that how do I connect this to the php database and link it to the php variables. I still have no idea how do we connect it. Another doubt, how do we add a variable to the log in button in the first example. Please give answers for these questions
You must study php and mysql.
Thanks for sharing these ‘Log In’ forms. I will use one for my website.
Nice templates..But how to add it to the blogger? Please help me
Thank for these great examples, I really liked them too simple but attractive. It would be great if you share some registration page examples as well.
thanks a lot….you’ve made my day and saved a lot of time.
This is really interesting indeed i want make maximum use of these templates
im intending to use the third example for my log in page but even when i know how to connect the database to the log in i dont know where the event is raised so im having trouble because i know for a fact that the event is written because when i fill out the whole thing and press the button it sends me to an ip directory, so, any help?
There is no easy way to explain it. The best solution would be to hire someone from Upwork to help you with this implementation.
Thanks so much guys. You’re really awesome! These forms are exactly what I was looking for.
May you please make a login form that uses same input like facebook. For example. Placeholder=”email or mobile phone number”
Thank you very much for providing such cool log in forms.I like the all v version.
Hi,
nice templates, but I have a question. I want to use template 3 and I am not use to work with html. In which file do I need to change something, that when I enter a username and a password, get guided to another homepage?
Tun,
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to explain it and you will need to have a consultation with web developer.
Could you expand on the following please?
“You are not allowed to remove the copyright credit from the footer.”
After examining the template code, I didn’t find any copyright links. How can I legally use these templates?
Is it free for commercial use or it requires any licence(paid) to use?
Arpit,
It can be used for commercial use as long as you add a copyright text that we are the original authors. Otherwise, there are no restrictions.
Awesome designs! However when I tried to open the second template ‘Creative Login Form’ I can’t change the background. The only image I can use for background is the original one. Could you help me with this?
Support is available only via our support forum which you can find here: https://colorlibsupport.com/
awesome….I found the one I’m lookin for..
Most of these will work fine for my simple blog site. How do I collect the email addresses? Or better yet, do you have an option to “opt-in” to emails, and when a user does, can do you have HTML code that will pump those addresses to a MailChimp List?
Pat,
MailChimp offers their own forms that you can integrate as part of any template. Look on MailChimp documentation for more info.
Is there any web template that match by design into “Login Form 1 by Colorlib”?
Hi there, thanks for the awesome templates. I am doing my final year project and wanted to ask regarding the copyright. What should include in order not breach copyright? FYI it is for personal use. Thank you
