About Colorlib

Colorlib has published website templates since 2012. Over the past 14 years the library has grown to more than 1,500 HTML templates and 300+ WordPress themes, all hand-coded and reviewed by our small team before publication. We do not accept submissions, white-labeled imports, or affiliate-only listings — every design on this page is built and maintained by us.

The library is a mix of 400+ free templates and premium designs. Each listing clearly shows whether it’s free or premium before you download — no hidden paywalls, no bait-and-switch.

How we build every template

Each template starts from a blank file — not a page-builder export. We write semantic HTML, progressive CSS, and vanilla (or framework-specific) JavaScript. Designs are tested on real devices (iOS, Android, desktop) across modern browsers, validated against WCAG AA color contrast, and linted for accessibility issues before release. Assets are compressed, fonts are subset, and any external dependencies are pinned to specific versions so the download you get today is the same code we shipped.

The stacks we support

  • Bootstrap 4 and 5 — the largest part of the library, with 300+ business, landing page, and admin templates.
  • Tailwind CSS — utility-first designs for teams that prefer composable styling and dark mode.
  • Astro — static-site templates with typed components, image optimization, and MDX support.
  • Plain HTML & CSS — framework-free templates for learning, practice, or minimal builds.

Licensing and usage

Free templates can be used on personal and commercial projects — including client work, products you sell, and SaaS applications — with no attribution required. Premium templates carry a one-time purchase fee and ship with extended support and richer feature sets. The only restriction that applies to both is you can’t repackage a template and resell it as-is on another marketplace. Full licensing details are on each template’s detail page.

How this page is updated

The Featured This Week grid above surfaces the 12 most recent additions; Recently Added shows the next 48, with full pagination across all 1,646 templates. Both update automatically when we publish a new template — so this hub always reflects the current state of the library, not a stale snapshot. The category sidebar lists every active category with live counts. Last content review: .

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Colorlib templates are free?
Around 400 templates in our library carry a free license — they’re all collected under the Free Templates tag. The rest are premium designs sold on the detail page. Every listing clearly shows whether it’s free or premium before you click Download.
What’s the difference between free and premium templates?
Free templates are licensed for personal and commercial use with no attribution required. Premium templates have a one-time purchase fee and come with extended support and richer feature sets. Both are built and maintained by the Colorlib team to the same quality bar — see the Free Templates collection if you need a zero-cost option.
What stacks do you support?
The library spans Bootstrap 4 and 5, Tailwind CSS, Astro, and plain HTML/CSS. Each template’s detail page lists the exact stack and versions used.
Do you have Tailwind CSS templates?
Yes — 48+ Tailwind CSS templates and counting, covering business, portfolio, SaaS, and landing page use cases. All use the latest Tailwind release with responsive design and dark mode where applicable.
Do you have Astro templates?
Yes — our Astro collection has 48 templates and growing, with typed components, image optimization, and MDX support built in.
Do I need to credit Colorlib if I use a template?
No attribution is required for either free or premium templates. You can remove our footer credit and use the template on any project. Mentions are appreciated but never obligatory.
Can I use the templates for commercial or client work?
Yes. Both free and premium templates can be used on commercial projects, client websites, and products you sell. The only restriction is you cannot resell the template itself as-is on another marketplace.
Where do I download the template files?
Each template’s detail page has a Download button. Free templates deliver a .zip with the full source immediately — no sign-up, no email wall. Premium templates go through a short checkout.
Are the templates mobile-responsive?
Yes. All templates are designed mobile-first and tested on phone, tablet, and desktop breakpoints before publishing. Check our responsive templates collection for mobile-optimized picks.
How often do you add new templates?
New templates ship every week — a mix of free and premium. Watch the Recently Added section above or subscribe to the newsletter for release updates.
Do the templates include a CMS or WordPress version?
These are static templates (HTML, Tailwind, or Astro). For WordPress versions, browse our WordPress themes collection — many designs are available in both formats.
