These groups have one speaker and typically one session per meeting (not like a conference with multiple speakers & sessions over one or more days). It would have its primary events featured each month with registration, speaker & topic info and deeper promotion, but might also have a secondary calendar of other local events of interest, but wouldn’t promote/feature those as deeply. You are looking for themes such as Januas and “Church and Events”. The second ones includes “church” in its name but don’t be confused by that as it is multipurpose WordPress theme and can be used for any kind of conferences and events. There are several similar themes on this theme collection that can be used for multiple events but these are my favorite ones that I can recommend to everyone. Especially I like “Church and Events” theme.

While you could use some advanced tools to create custom forms such as Gravity Forms but personally I would just provide potential speakers with author/editor rights for WordPress so they can add everything within a post or page.

I don’t think that you will find any such theme for WordPress or any platform in general. Clearinghouse operations is a very narrow field for any developer to get into it and develop themes and plugins for it.
But I believe that that should be some platform of some sort for this kind of operations that you could make as part of your web appearance. Since I am not involved into finance I am not aware of any such platform but I would suggest to look around for one as your situation is not unique and there must be some established platform but it is definitely not WordPress based. But if you get the platform then mixing it with WordPress theme would be a piece of cake.

Thank you for your question.
1. These are WordPress themes and they use default WordPress functionality which means that you can allow users to register on your website. You can enable registration via WordPress dashboard >> Settings >> General >> “Anyone can register”.
2. These are event/conference themes therefore they doesn’t have option to send donations. However, you can always use donations plugins such as this one. Or even use default PayPal donation option that you can use with any theme and without using any plugins.
Another option is to choose non-profit theme with donations options built-in by default and here you can find some great examples of such a themes.

It depends on what functionality are looking for. Most above listed themes are flexible enough to be used for single event, multiple events or for event management company. If you have only few events to be listed on website and the rest of information would be about your company, I would rather recommend to these themes. But like I said before, it depends on how you have imagined your website should work and look.

I’m am looking for an events directory theme that is similar to Eventbrite. Its would be a national directory where people can post and view events in their local area. Advertisers can create and manage their own events, sell tickets or rsvp, embed photos and videos.
Social media integration, responsive. So far the two that I like the most are Eventbuilder and My City. My City is fairly new and seems to be getting a lot of buzz. Eventbuilder is very nice and full of features but seems to have some mixed reviews about the developers lack of updates. I would love to have your feedback?

I haven’t tested Event On but based on user feedback I wouldn’t purchase the theme since it has the lowest quality rating from any event WordPress theme out there. I would stay away from it as there are plenty of other themes that are much gigher rated. Maybe there were some temporary problems with this theme but still I would be careful choosing it.

Both of these themes servers completely different purpose. EventBuilder is more like event directory theme where you can list multiple events based on their location, date, category and other parameters while Eventum is for a single event. For example Eventum is the best suited for single conference, concert, meetup or something of that sort. While you can list multiple events it is going to be much more difficult for users to sort them and to find the right one for them. That’s where EventBuilder will shine the brightest – multiple events with flexible search.

I wish to create a site which will present different workshops and seminars taking place in different cities. I need some pages to be in French and some in English. I need the menu at the top of the page to reflect the current selected language. Also I need the site to be searchable with filters for language, city and workshop category.

I have been asked to put together a website for a Greenland kayak festival that recurs every year in the Pacific Northwest. It attracts around 100 attendees. It lasts three days and there are multiple sessions of classes, usually with multiple coaches. There are also nighttime events with speakers. We may be having a small film festival this year as well.
I would like the site to handle ticketing and manage the various sessions as well. Between festivals, I want the site to serve as a locus for the community of Greenland kayakers -blog, pics, and videos of the event etc.
I am not a web developer, though I do maintain my own WordPress site. This will be a volunteer effort on my part.
Is there any particular solution that jumps out at you from my description? I like the look of Conference Pro, but that is not based on much more than looks 🙂

But the issue with that theme is that they cannot handle the ticket selling on the site itself and they have to go through a third party. So I am looking for a theme where the user can handle everything in the front end from submission to management of tickets sales.

Event Builder theme does support payments using PayPal and credit/debit cards using Stripe. It is the only theme of its kind and currently there aren’t any direct rivals for this theme.
Still in event build ticket selling is handled not by theme itself but ticket tailor and Ticketira !

Support and documentation is only available in English. You can translate and make website multilingual using a plugin called WPML. You can read about it here. WordPress itself has several different user levels that you can use and it works regardless themes. For ticket sales you can use many of various plugins such as WooCommerce and others that also works with most themes.

That has nothing to do with themes. Instead look for a WordPress plugins that would allow user profile management like that.

I am organizing really a complex events with multi-days and multi-room schedule which are held two or there times in a year. Each event’s schedule has many types of sub-events like workshop, training, seminars etc. The amount of session in a range 20 to 200.
I am looking for a complex schedule management tools, and want to show all events with a complex schedules in a single domain.
Most suitable schedule management is in Tyler theme, but this is just for one event. Can not solve my problem. They are not open for the feature requests and custom development.
Then second one is Eventalk, but this kind of schedule management can be not effective for the huge events with over 100 sessions. But now, most suitable one is that and they are ready to custom development.
Now i am analysing Evenz after reading your post.

Most of these seem to have what I need, but I am curious about a few things. My event is a virtual summit, are speakers are able to go live on a page that I create for them and give them access? I assume I will need a plug in to broadcast for that, but wondering if the rest would work. Also, would I be able to secure those pages, requiring a log in from those that registered for the event? Are you familiar with any themes that would have those features?
