If you want to expand your music project, do it with the HTML DJ website template, DJoz. Its design mixes minimalism with creativity, so everyone who lands on your page can enjoy skimming through your content. While DJoz primarily focuses on DJs, you can easily adapt it for other types of musicians, and even bands.
DJoz has eight pages: home, about, discography, tours, videos, blog, blog post and contact. A banner above the fold, a transparent header, music players with a track list, an event countdown, event and video sliders, skill bars, social media icons, calls to action and a drop-down menu are all part of it. You also get working contact, comment and newsletter forms and a click-to-load map. The code is organized and clean, so you can customize it easily. Save time and energy when establishing a solid online presence with DJoz.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (1.0 used 4.4.1), compiled from Sass, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Native audio players with the same look replace jPlayer (play, pause, seek and volume work with the mouse and the keyboard, and one track plays at a time), Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel on the event and video sliders, and a built-in video dialog replaces Magnific Popup. The countdown, skill bars and track list no longer need plugins, and npm run build compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: the home page went from 5.3 MB and 44 requests to 793 KB and 27 requests, and the contact page from 1.5 MB and 77 requests to 441 KB and 12 requests. Every image has an AVIF version with the original as the fallback, the 3 MB hero PNG is now a 103 KB JPEG, the full-screen preloader is gone, and the download went from 33.0 MB to 7.7 MB.
No third-party requests at load: Rajdhani, Now and the Comforter Brush script titles are self-hosted, Font Awesome 4.7 is replaced by Lucide SVG icons and a small social-logo subset, and the videos load only after a click. The third-party map embed, which loaded with the contact page, is replaced by a map (OpenStreetMap, no API key) that loads only when the visitor clicks Show map.
Working forms: the contact and comment forms send through php/send-email.php and the newsletter through php/subscribe.php, with validation, a spam trap and an in-page message. Before, the forms had no handler.
Accessibility: a skip link, one h1 per page (the large faded script captions are now decoration), names on icon-only links and buttons, labelled form fields and players, a visible focus ring, reduced-motion support and WCAG AA text contrast.
Original demo media: six demo tracks made for this template (2.8 MB instead of 12.4 MB) and stock concert footage for the videos. The artists, events, venues and blog posts are fictional, with 2026 and 2027 dates, seven photos that showed brand logos are replaced, and the store badges on the discography page are Stream and Buy MP3 buttons.
