Sublime is a minimal eCommerce website template that you can use for all sorts of stores. Selling gadgets, furniture, apparel or accessories, Sublime gives you the front end of an online store with six pages: home, category, product, cart, checkout and contact. It is built on Bootstrap 5 and plain JavaScript for a smooth experience on phones, tablets and desktops.
Grab their attention with a neat slideshow that includes both text and call-to-action buttons. You can use it to market the latest drops or the exclusive deal you are running. Sublime also comes with sticky drop-down navigation, a category page with sorting, a product page with an image gallery and quantity picker, a cart with a coupon field, a checkout form, a newsletter form, social media icons and a working contact form with a click-to-load map. Kick your online business off in style using Sublime.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the original release loaded a Bootstrap 4.0 beta), compiled from Sass with only the grid and utilities the pages use, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery: the six per-page scripts are one file with a function per feature. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel on the home slider, a CSS grid with built-in sorting replaces Isotope, CSS transitions replace the animation library behind the mobile menu, and the unused scroll, parallax and easing plugins are gone. npm run build compiles one minified stylesheet per page and one script.
Lighter pages: the six pages together went from 7.0 MB and 234 requests to 1.4 MB and 102 requests, and the JavaScript from 2.9 MB to 330 KB. Every photo has an AVIF version with the original as the fallback, with real dimensions and lazy loading below the fold, and the download went from 1.8 MB to 1.2 MB.
No third-party requests: Poppins is self-hosted, Font Awesome 4.7 is replaced by Lucide SVG icons and a 1.2 KB social-logo subset, and the contact map (OpenStreetMap, no API key) loads only when the visitor clicks Show map. Before, a maps script with an API key in the page loaded with the contact page.
A demo store without real brands: every photo that showed a brand logo is replaced, and the products carry fictional names that match their photos (every product was “Smart Phone” before). The contact phone numbers and email addresses are fictional too.
Working forms: the contact form gains an Email field and sends through includes/send-email.php, with validation, a spam trap and an in-page message, the newsletter and coupon forms answer in the page, searches open the category page, and the checkout fields are named, typed and labelled. Before, the contact form had no handler.
Accessibility: a skip link, one h1 per page, real buttons for the menu, search, quantity and gallery thumbnails, an off-canvas menu that closes with Esc and keeps focus inside, drop-downs, sorting and checkout options that work from the keyboard, a visible focus ring and WCAG AA text contrast, with a darker red on sale badges and old prices.
Fixed: clicking inside the open mobile menu on the contact page opened an empty alert box, “Sort by Name” did nothing, and the checkout listed a stray dress among the gadgets. Typos such as “Shippiing” and “Cach on delivery” are corrected.
