A warm, rounded account creation page for a made-up birdwatching community, with a photo cover and a round avatar that overlaps it. Choosing a photo shows it in the avatar straight away (it never leaves the browser), with type and size checks and a remove button; without a photo the avatar shows your initials. Interest chips need at least three picks, and a switch opts in to a weekly digest.

It is plain HTML and CSS plus a few lines of vanilla JavaScript: no jQuery, no Bootstrap files, no plugins, and the download is 271 KB. Use it on its own, or drop it into a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project and it looks the same.

• Avatar preview via URL.createObjectURL with type and 2 MB checks
• Initials fallback and a handle suggested from the display name
• Checkbox chips with a live count and a minimum of three
