Fox is an academic website template for schools, colleges, universities, online courses and other educational projects. Its modern design makes a good impression on prospective students, and you can also use it to redesign an existing site. Fox is easy to use, well organized and suits beginners and advanced users alike.
Fox includes sliders, on-scroll content loading and animated statistics. It has 14 pages covering the student journey: home, admissions, programs, courses and course details, teachers, alumni, events, a gallery, an FAQ, a blog and a contact page with a map and a working form.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 compiled from Sass, plain JavaScript and no jQuery. The theme SCSS now ships in scss/ (2.0 said it did, but only compiled CSS was included), with a documented npm run build.
A lighter home page: 4.0 MB before, 1.7 MB now. Images are AVIF with the JPEG as the fallback (2.0 served WebP only, with no fallback).
Working forms: contact, request a quote, application, information request, blog comments and newsletter send through php/send-email.php. In 2.0 every form posted to #.
Poppins and a 2.6 KB icon font are self-hosted, and the contact map is a click-to-load OpenStreetMap map.
Fixed: section headings near the fold stayed invisible on phones until the visitor scrolled, and the gallery filter buttons did nothing.
Accessibility: one h1 per page, heading levels without gaps, labelled form fields, a visible focus ring, WCAG AA text contrast and reduced-motion support.
SEO: titles and descriptions written for a university, social tags, and CollegeOrUniversity, Course and BlogPosting structured data.
