Alime is a photography portfolio website template for amateur and professional photographers. It is built on Bootstrap, adjusts to all screens and devices, and works in modern web browsers and on retina screens.
Alime includes a filterable portfolio, several inner pages, a blog and a contact page with a map. You will also find a full-width Instagram photo strip, a back-to-top button and social media icons. Use Alime as it is, or adjust it to your photo project.
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (1.0 loaded Bootstrap 4.2.1) and no jQuery: the hero slider runs on Swiper, the portfolio filter and masonry on plain JavaScript, and the lightbox on PhotoSwipe 5. Build with npm run build.
Lighter pages: the six pages together went from 9.97 MB and 325 requests to 4.72 MB and 193 requests. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPG as the fallback.
No third-party requests at load: Poppins is self-hosted, four icon fonts are replaced by SVG icons and a 1.5 KB social-logo subset, and the contact map and about-page video load only after a click.
A working blog comment form through includes/send-email.php, with labels, validation and a spam trap.
Accessibility: a mobile menu that works from the keyboard and closes with Esc, names on icon-only links, descriptive alt text, a skip link, a visible focus ring and WCAG AA text contrast. The portfolio and Instagram links can now be reached with the keyboard.
Fixed: the contact map showed Riga for a New York address, the about-page video pointed at a removed YouTube video, and on phones the hero slider arrows covered the headline.
No full-screen preloader, and the logos are SVG, sharp on high-density screens.
