Nurture is an engaging children’s education website template for kindergartens, preschools and childcare centers. Whether you run a learning center for kids or plan to operate online only, you need a website either way. Thanks to Nurture, you can make one without starting from the ground up. It comes with seven pages (home, about, staff, news, gallery, contact and elements) and plenty of features to put to work.

The overall structure of Nurture is optimized for mobile devices, retina screens and modern web browsers, and the clean code makes it easy to style the default settings to your needs. A video section, a sticky navigation bar, scroll animations, counters, a testimonial slider, pricing plans, accordions, a photo gallery with a lightbox and a working contact form are just some of the highlights. Hit the download button now and get creative.

What’s new in 3.0

• Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the 2020 release used 4.5.2), compiled from Sass with the original 30 px gutters and 1140 px container, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel on the testimonial sliders, PhotoSwipe 5 replaces Fancybox on the photos, the video opens in a built-in dialog, and small built-in modules replace AOS, Waypoints, the counter plugin and the sticky-header plugin. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script per page.
• Lighter pages: the home page went from 2.1 MB and 41 requests to 1.1 MB and 30 requests. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPEG as the fallback, with real dimensions and lazy loading, the full-screen preloader that hid each page until it had loaded is gone, and the unused datepicker, parallax and animation files are removed.
• No third-party requests: Libre Baskerville and Mulish are self-hosted, and the icomoon and Flaticon icon fonts are replaced by Lucide SVG icons and a 1.6 KB social-logo subset. The demo video is now a stock classroom clip (a promo clip before) and loads only after a click.
• A working contact form: the contact and elements forms send through php/send-email.php, with validation, a spam trap and in-page success and error messages. Before, the contact form had no handler.
• Accessibility: a skip link and a main landmark on every page, submenus that open from the keyboard, a mobile menu that closes with Esc, names on icon-only links, alt text on the gallery photos, labelled form fields, visible focus rings and WCAG AA text contrast, with dark green text on the green buttons, footer and cards and a darker green for links and headings.
• Fixed: the home and about pages scrolled sideways on phones (a decorative band reached past the right edge), the testimonial slider was sized before the fonts loaded and did not fit the active slide, the Log In, Register and Enroll Now links led to pages that did not exist (Enroll Now opens the contact page now), and typos such as “Elemments” and “Staffs” are corrected.
• Demo content that fits a childcare center: five photos that showed brand logos are replaced, the elements FAQ asks childcare questions instead of payment ones, the footer lists programs instead of web technologies, and the opening hours and email address are corrected.
