Expo is a marketing and event promotion agency website template, built on Bootstrap 5. It has a pale pink hero with an illustration, a client logo slider, an about block, services, three pricing plans and a call to action, all in one orange and navy colour scheme. The layout is responsive and mobile-ready. There are seven pages: home, about, services, blog, blog details, contact and an elements page.
You will also find a blog with a sidebar (search, categories, recent posts, tags, photos and a newsletter box), an article page with an author box, comments and a comment form, and a contact page with a working contact form and a map that loads on click. The elements page shows the buttons, form controls, table, lists and a photo gallery with a lightbox. Expo gives you a ready-made site for a marketing agency, an events studio or a conference organiser.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4.1.3 and jQuery), compiled from Sass together with the theme and the Bootstrap 4 proportions the design was drawn with, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Slick on the client logo slider, small built-in modules replace SlickNav, Magnific Popup, Nice Select and WOW.js, and Lucide icons replace the icon fonts. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: the eight pages together went from 9.4 MB and 390 requests to 4.2 MB and 201 requests. The home page went from 1.2 MB and 53 requests to 0.6 MB and 31 requests, and the contact page from 1.6 MB and 68 requests to 0.4 MB and 19 requests. Photos have AVIF versions with a JPG fallback.
No third-party requests: Josefin Sans and Roboto are self-hosted, the analytics loader is replaced by a commented-out Google Analytics 4 block, and the contact map loads from OpenStreetMap only when a visitor presses a button, with no API key.
Working forms: the contact form, the comment form and the newsletter box post with JavaScript to a small PHP mailer with a spam trap, and show an error or success message on the page.
Accessibility: a skip link, one h1 per page, a keyboard-operable submenu and phone menu, a visible focus ring, text colours at WCAG AA contrast and reduced-motion support.
New demo content: event photos from Unsplash, redrawn SVG illustrations, fictional client logos and initials avatars, and event and marketing copy on the blog and elements pages. Photo credits are in the README.
Fixes: darker orange for buttons and small text so labels stay readable, the elements page no longer scrolls sideways at tablet width, and the previous and next post links are full-size touch targets.
