Appru is an app landing page template for mobile apps and software products, built on Bootstrap 5. The home page opens with a full-screen hero with App Store and Google Play buttons and a phone mockup, followed by key figures, three feature cards, two phone sections, a video, a review slider with reviewer thumbnails, a carousel of app screens and three pricing plans. The layout is responsive and mobile-ready. There are seven pages: home, about, pricing, blog, a single blog post, contact and an elements page.
The blog has post cards with category tiles and a sidebar with search, author box, popular posts, categories, newsletter and tags; the blog post adds comments and a comment form. The contact page has the address, phone and email, a map that loads on click and a working contact form. The phone mockups and app screens are drawn as SVG, so you can swap in your own app screenshots in the same places.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4.1 and jQuery), compiled from Sass together with the theme and the Bootstrap 4 proportions the design was drawn with, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel on the review slider and the screen carousel, a video dialog and PhotoSwipe replace Magnific Popup, CSS submenus replace Superfish, and Lucide SVG icons replace the icon fonts. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: all seven pages together went from 12.1 MB and 329 requests to 5.2 MB and 157 requests; the home page from 2.1 MB to 0.8 MB and the blog from 3.7 MB to 0.8 MB. Photos have AVIF versions with a JPEG fallback, and the 2.3 MB blog banner is now 0.27 MB.
No third-party requests: fonts and icons are self-hosted, and the contact map is an OpenStreetMap embed that loads only when a visitor clicks “Show map”.
Working forms: the contact, comment and newsletter forms send through included PHP handlers and show a status message, and the blog search filters the posts.
Accessibility: skip link, one heading level 1 per page, labelled form fields, keyboard-reachable menus and review thumbnails, a visible focus ring, reduced-motion support and AA text contrast with a deeper brand blue.
New content: original SVG phone mockups and app screens, sharp SVG banner shapes, on-topic photos for the blog and reviews, app copy instead of placeholder text, page titles, descriptions and share images.
