Description
A two-factor verification screen for a made-up banking app, with six separate digit boxes, a small phone-and-shield illustration and a chunky outlined card. Typing advances to the next box, Backspace steps back, arrow keys move, and pasting or autofilling a whole code fills every box and verifies. A resend button counts down from 30 seconds before it can be used again.
It is plain HTML and CSS plus a few lines of vanilla JavaScript: no jQuery, no Bootstrap files, no plugins, and the download is 171 KB. Use it on its own, or drop it into a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project and it looks the same.
- Paste or SMS autofill spreads a full code across all six boxes
- Auto-advance, Backspace to previous box, arrows, Home and End
- autocomplete one-time-code and numeric keypad on phones
- Resend button with a 30-second countdown
- Wrong-code state with a shake that respects reduced motion
- Errors and resend announced in a polite status region
