Videograph is a dark video portfolio website template for videographers. Whether you are an amateur or a professional, this web design will do the trick. With Videograph, you can create a strong first impression on your visitors and potential clients. The dark appearance puts your footage first and makes for a pleasant browsing experience. The layout is fully responsive and works in all popular web browsers.
Start online strong and boost your videography or filmmaking business. Videograph includes seven pages (home, about, portfolio, services, blog, blog details and contact), a hero text slider, a drop-down menu, a video gallery that plays clips in a dialog, a filterable portfolio, animated counters, a testimonials slider, a latest posts carousel, social icons and hover effects. Additionally, the contact page has a working form and a click-to-load map.
What’s new in 3.0
Swiper 14 replaces Swiper 12, a built-in filter replaces MixItUp, a CSS grid replaces Masonry, and Bootstrap’s JavaScript no longer loads, since nothing needs it. The theme’s own Sass now ships (the 2.0 download had only Bootstrap’s), and npm run build compiles and minifies the CSS and JS.
Lighter pages: the seven pages together went from 10.7 MB and 281 requests to 3.3 MB and 156 requests. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPG or PNG as the fallback, real dimensions and lazy loading below the fold.
No third-party requests at load: Play and Josefin Sans are self-hosted, Font Awesome is replaced by SVG icons and a five-logo social subset, the contact map loads only when the visitor clicks Show map, the videos load YouTube or Vimeo only after a click, and Google Analytics is a commented-out snippet.
Working forms: the contact and comment forms send through php/send-email.php and the newsletter forms through php/subscribe.php, with validation, a spam trap and in-page messages. Before, none of them had a handler.
Accessibility: one h1 per page, a skip link that works on every page (its target was missing on six), names on icon-only links, buttons and form fields, a mobile menu that keeps focus inside and closes with Esc, and WCAG AA text contrast, with dark text on the cyan buttons.
Fixed: the 15 demo video links all pointed at one unrelated YouTube video and now play stock footage clips, the contact email row showed a location icon, and typos such as “Videoprah” and “Compled” are corrected.
No full-screen preloader, every page has its own title and description, brand logos are removed from three photos (camera, drone and gimbal), and the portfolio titles, address and email are fictional.
