Props is a real estate agency website template built on Bootstrap 5. The layout is responsive and works on phones, tablets and desktops. It comes with six pages: home, properties, property details, services, about and contact.
The home page has a hero slider with a search box, feature cards, a slider of popular properties, client testimonials, an about block with counters and agent profiles. The properties page lists homes with price, address, bedrooms and bathrooms, and the property page adds a photo slider, a description and the listing agent. Services, about (with a team slider) and a contact form complete the site. Use Props as it is or adapt it to your own agency.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 compiled from Sass with only the parts the pages use, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces tiny-slider, AOS is replaced by a small reveal script, and Lucide SVG icons replace two icon fonts. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles the minified stylesheets and one script.
Lighter pages: across the six pages the total went from 10.5 MB and 151 requests to 4.4 MB and 116 requests, and the home page from 3.15 MB to 1.5 MB. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPEG as the fallback, real dimensions and lazy loading below the first screen.
No third-party requests: Noto Sans JP is self-hosted, the social logos come from a small Font Awesome Brands subset (the Twitter bird is now the X logo), and a Google Analytics 4 snippet stays commented out until you add your own ID. Before, every page loaded fonts and scripts from other sites.
A working contact form with labelled fields, validation, a spam trap and an in-page message, sent through a PHP handler. Before, the form posted nowhere.
Accessibility: a skip link and landmarks on every page, one h1 per page, labelled form fields, buttons for slider controls, visible focus rings, reduced-motion support and WCAG AA text contrast.
Fixed and refreshed: new architecture photography, real estate copy with fictional agents and listings, a working menu on phones, and dead links, the placeholder dropdown and sideways scrolling on small screens removed.
