Primelaw is a lawyer and legal website template for attorneys and agencies alike. It is a clean, modern design with many features. A full-width slideshow introduces your practice, and an appointment button opens a form in a pop-up, so visitors who already know you’re the right pick can act right away.
Primelaw also loads content on scroll and includes animated statistics, a testimonials slider, case studies and social media icons. The contact page has a working form and a map, so potential clients can get in touch any time.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 4.1 is replaced by Bootstrap 5.3.8, and jQuery is removed: the template script is plain JavaScript, with Swiper for the sliders. The theme SCSS ships in scss/ with a documented npm run build.
A lighter home page: 3.8 MB before, 0.99 MB now. The photos went from 2.5 MB to 0.75 MB as AVIF, with the JPEG as the fallback.
Maps that work: Google rejected the old API key, so every map showed an error. The maps are now keyless OpenStreetMap maps that load when the visitor clicks Show map.
Working forms: the quote form, the appointment dialog, the contact form and the comment form send through php/send-email.php, and the newsletter through php/subscribe.php.
Open Sans and the icon fonts are self-hosted (4 KB of icons instead of 2.8 MB), with no Google Fonts request.
Accessibility: a skip link, labelled form fields, a visible keyboard focus ring, reduced-motion support and WCAG AA text contrast.
Fixed: every page requested a script that never shipped, most sections were invisible without JavaScript, and the page jumped 74 px when the navigation became sticky.
