Industries is a website template for industrial companies: steel fabricators, plant maintenance contractors, engineering workshops and similar businesses, built on Bootstrap 5. The layout is responsive and mobile-ready. There are eight pages: home, about, services, projects, a single project, blog, a single blog post and contact.
The home page opens with a full-screen photo slider with a video button, followed by service highlights, a features grid beside a tall photo, an about block, a grid of latest projects, a testimonial slider, blog posts and a call-to-action band. The services page lists six services, each with its own anchor for the menu, the about page shows the team, and the contact page has a working contact form next to the address, phone and email. Industries gives you a ready-made site for a fabrication, engineering or maintenance company.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4.1.1 and jQuery), compiled from Sass together with the theme and the Bootstrap 4 proportions the design was drawn with, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel on the hero and testimonial sliders, a video dialog replaces Fancybox, and a small built-in module replaces Waypoints and animate.css. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: across all eight pages, 12.4 MB and 188 requests became 10.7 MB and 123 requests, while the hero and banner photos are now sharp on large screens (3840 px instead of 1900 px). Every photo has an AVIF version with a JPEG fallback.
No third-party requests: Oxygen and Montserrat are self-hosted, icons are inline Lucide SVGs, and the social logos use a small Font Awesome 7 subset with the X logo.
Accessibility: a skip link, a main landmark, one heading 1 per page, labelled form fields, named icon links, visible keyboard focus and WCAG AA text contrast, with a deeper shade of the brand orange and a scrim behind the hero text.
A working contact form with a PHP handler, a spam trap and in-page success and error messages.
Fixes: links that went nowhere now open real pages and sections, the menu’s service items open their section, phone-width pages no longer scroll sideways, and the demo text is real industrial copy instead of placeholder text.
