Hookup is a one-page wedding website template for couples and wedding planners, built on Bootstrap 5, with a romantic coral and mint design, script headings and floral accents. The layout is responsive and mobile-ready and works in all popular web browsers.
The page opens with a full-screen photo hero and a countdown to the big day, followed by the invitation, bride and groom profiles, a love story timeline, a guest messages slider, a wedding party slider, ceremony, reception and party cards with times and map links, an RSVP form and a photo gallery that opens in a lightbox. A sticky menu links every section, so guests find the date, the venues and the RSVP in one place.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4.3.1 and jQuery), compiled from Sass with the original proportions, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel on both sliders, PhotoSwipe replaces Magnific Popup in the gallery, Jarallax replaces Stellar on the hero, and Lucide icons replace the old icon fonts. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
A lighter page: 15.9 MB and 97 requests before, 3.5 MB and 53 requests now. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPEG as the fallback, the hero photo is preloaded, and the background video player is gone.
No third-party requests: the fonts are self-hosted and nothing loads from video, map or ad servers.
A working RSVP form with visible labels, validation, status messages, a spam trap and a PHP handler.
Accessibility: a skip link, labelled links and controls, keyboard focus styles, reduced-motion support and AA text contrast with darker tones of the coral pink.
The countdown now reads its date from the markup, new wedding demo copy replaces the placeholder text, and the page has a description, social sharing tags and event structured data.
