Finances is a one-page website template for a finance, banking or accounting firm, built on Bootstrap 5. The layout is responsive and mobile-ready. There are two pages: the one-page home site and a single blog post.
The home page opens with a full-screen hero with rotating headlines and a call-to-action button. Further down you will find an about block, three feature icons, the team with social links, a photo gallery with a lightbox, a “How It Works” slider whose photos and steps change together, six services, client testimonials, three pricing plans, an FAQ, a loans block, three blog posts, contact details with a working contact form and a footer with a newsletter form. The blog post has comments, a comment form and a sidebar with search, categories and an author box. Finances suits financial advisers, accountants, loan and insurance consultants and other consulting businesses.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4.3.1 and jQuery), compiled from Sass with the Bootstrap 4 proportions the design was drawn with, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel on the hero, testimonial and “How It Works” sliders, PhotoSwipe replaces the gallery lightbox, a small built-in module replaces AOS, and unused plugins such as jQuery UI, the countdown, the sticky header plugin and the media player are gone. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: the home page went from 2.35 MB and 43 requests to 1.16 MB and 27 requests, and the blog post from 1.68 MB and 30 requests to 0.89 MB and 18 requests. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPEG as the fallback, real dimensions and lazy loading below the first screen, the hero photo is preloaded, and the full-page preloader is gone.
No third-party requests: Open Sans is self-hosted, the icon fonts and illustrations are replaced by Lucide SVG icons and a 1 KB social-logo subset, and a Google Analytics 4 snippet stays commented out until you add your own ID.
Working forms: the contact form, the newsletter form and the blog comment form send through php/send-email.php, with validation, a spam trap and an in-page message, and the blog search and category links filter the posts on the home page. Before, the forms had no field names and posted nowhere.
Accessibility: a skip link and a main landmark, one h1 per page, a real menu button with a side panel that keeps focus inside and closes with Esc, submenus and team links that open from the keyboard, names on icon links, visible focus rings, reduced-motion support and WCAG AA text contrast, with darker greys and a darker shade of the brand blue for links and buttons.
Fixed: the blog post hero stretched an 800 px photo to full width (it now uses the full-size original), the team names did not match their portraits, the testimonials reused the team photos, the FAQ repeated three questions, the three blog posts were identical, and every menu placeholder and “Learn More” link went nowhere.
