Accounting is a website template for an accounting, tax or financial advisory firm, built on Bootstrap 5 with a white layout and a green accent. It has seven pages: home, about, services, case studies, blog, blog post and contact. The home page opens with a photo slider, followed by an about block with four services, animated figures, a testimonials slider, an FAQ accordion, news, a newsletter sign-up and pricing plans. Inner pages add case studies with a blog sidebar, comments with a reply form, and a contact page with a form and a map. The layout is responsive and works in all popular web browsers.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4 and jQuery), compiled from Sass with the original proportions, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 runs the hero and testimonial sliders, Jarallax the page banners, and small built-in modules handle scroll reveals, counters, the map and the forms. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles the minified stylesheet and script.
Lighter pages: the eight pages together went from 12.4 MB and 234 requests to 5.4 MB and 133 requests. Photos have AVIF versions with JPEG fallbacks, real dimensions and lazy loading.
No third-party requests: the Montserrat font is self-hosted, Lucide SVG icons and a small social-logo subset replace the icon fonts (the Twitter bird is now the X logo), the contact map loads only when a visitor asks for it, and a Google Analytics 4 snippet stays commented out until you add your own ID.
Working forms: newsletter, consultation, contact and comment forms send through php/send-email.php, with labels, validation, a spam trap and an in-page message. The search boxes filter the blog.
Accessibility: a skip link and a main landmark, one h1 per page, the current page marked in the menu, named icon links, an accessible FAQ accordion, and a deeper green for text and buttons plus darker photo overlays so the pages meet WCAG AA contrast.
Fixes: no loading screen hiding the page, footer and button links that go to real pages, accounting-specific pricing features, distinct names for testimonials and comments, typos corrected, unique page titles and descriptions, structured data and a favicon.
