Consolution is a website template for a business consulting agency, built on Bootstrap 5 with a white layout, a navy menu bar and a blue accent. It has seven pages: home, about, services, projects, blog, blog post and contact. The home page opens with a photo slider, followed by an about block with four feature cards, animated figures, six services, a project grid, a quote request form, news and a testimonials slider. Inner pages add a short video on the about page, comments with a reply form and a blog sidebar, and a contact page with a form and a map. The layout is responsive and works in all popular web browsers.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4 and jQuery), compiled from Sass with the original proportions, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 runs the hero and testimonial sliders, Jarallax the quote section background, and small built-in modules handle scroll reveals, counters, the video dialog, the map and the forms. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles the minified stylesheet and script.
Lighter pages: the seven pages together went from 18.1 MB and 288 requests to 5.8 MB and 143 requests. Photos have AVIF versions with JPEG fallbacks, real dimensions and lazy loading.
No third-party requests: the Nunito Sans font is self-hosted, Lucide SVG icons and a small social-logo subset replace the icon fonts (the Twitter bird is now the X logo), the contact map and the about-page video load only when a visitor asks for them, and a Google Analytics 4 snippet stays commented out until you add your own ID.
Working forms: the quote request, newsletter, contact and comment forms send through php/send-email.php, with labels, validation, a spam trap and an in-page message. The search boxes filter the blog.
Accessibility: a skip link and a main landmark, one h1 per page, the current page marked in the menu, named icon links, and a deeper blue for buttons and text plus darker photo overlays so the pages meet WCAG AA contrast.
Fixes: no loading screen hiding the page, header, footer and button links that go to real pages, new project photos, distinct project and post titles, consulting tags and categories, typos corrected, unique page titles and descriptions, structured data and a favicon.
