Description

A joined, bordered pagination bar under a blog archive, with Previous and Next labels, numbered page links and an ellipsis before the last page. It is built from plain links for server-rendered pages, with the current page marked by aria-current and Previous disabled on the first page. On phones the labels shrink to arrows and one page number is dropped.

It is plain HTML and CSS: no jQuery, no Bootstrap files, no plugins, and the download is 267 KB. Use it on its own, or drop it into a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project and it looks the same.

  • Real links with rel=next, ready for server-side paging
  • Disabled Previous state with aria-disabled and no href
  • Accessible names for every page link
  • Arrow-only edges on small screens with the text kept for screen readers
