Modist is a fashion shop website template with a pink-and-white layout, a large photo hero and product collections. Its nine pages cover Home, About, Shop, Product Details, Cart, Checkout, Blog, Blog Details and Contact.

Visitors can browse products, choose a size and quantity, save favorites and update a cart stored in their browser. Checkout is an explicitly local demonstration: it validates sample details without placing an order, taking payment or sending billing information. A real commerce backend is required to accept orders.

What’s new in 3.0

• Bootstrap 5.3.8 and vanilla JavaScript replace the older stack, with Swiper product and review carousels, PhotoSwipe product zoom, Jarallax and Lucide icons.
• Home-page resources drop from about 3.52 MB to 1.43 MB, with requests reduced from 56 to 35.
• AVIF photos, local Lato and Roboto Condensed fonts, Font Awesome Brands and minified assets make no third-party requests on initial load.
• Keyboard-friendly navigation, product controls, dialogs and forms accompany improved text contrast, headings and reduced-motion behavior.
• The demo cart preserves selected products, sizes and quantities locally, recalculates totals and handles removals and empty states.
• Contact, comment and newsletter requests use configurable PHP mail handlers with validation and error recovery. Comments and newsletter requests are emailed for review.
• A working product lightbox, click-to-load map, local journal search, refreshed fashion copy, metadata and buyer documentation complete the upgrade.
