Jobportal is a job board website template for job portals, recruitment agencies and career sites, built on Bootstrap 5. The layout is responsive and mobile-ready. There are seven pages: home, find a job, post a job, about, blog, a single blog post and contact.
The home page opens with a full-screen hero and a tabbed search for jobs or candidates by keyword, job type and location, followed by a how-it-works row, job categories with counts, a list of recent jobs with job-type badges, apply and save buttons, a counter band, a testimonial slider, recent blog posts and a newsletter sign-up. The post a job page has a plan choice and fields for the job title, company, contact email, job type, location and description. You will also find an about page with testimonials and counters, a blog with a sidebar, author box and comments, and a contact page with a working contact form and a map that loads on click.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4.1.0 and jQuery), compiled from Sass with the Bootstrap 4 proportions the design was drawn with, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel on the testimonials, Jarallax replaces Stellar and Scrollax, small built-in modules replace Waypoints, the number counters and animate.css, and unused plugins such as AOS, Magnific Popup and the date picker are gone. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: all seven pages together went from 13.8 MB and 282 requests to 5.0 MB and 127 requests, and the home page from 2.3 MB to 1.0 MB. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPEG as the fallback, and the full-page preloader is gone.
No third-party requests: Nunito Sans is self-hosted, the icon fonts are replaced by Lucide SVG icons and a 1 KB social-logo subset, and the contact page map is an OpenStreetMap map (no API key needed) that loads only when a visitor clicks “Show map”. A Google Analytics 4 snippet stays commented out until you add your own ID. Before, every page loaded Google Fonts and the Google Maps script.
Working forms: the contact, newsletter, blog comment and post a job forms send through php/send-email.php, with validation, a spam trap and an in-page message; the job, candidate and blog searches send their terms to the results page. Before, the forms had no action and no field names.
Accessibility: a skip link and a main landmark on every page, the current page marked in the menu, names on icon and image links, real save-job buttons, labelled fields, visible focus rings and WCAG AA text contrast, with a deeper blue and green, darker body and meta text, darker job-type badges and a stronger shade on the hero photo.
Demo content: fictional employers, people and contact details, each testimonial and comment with its own name and photo, blog categories and tags that match the job niche, higher-resolution hero, counter and about photos, and typo fixes. The apply buttons, footer links and blog links now lead to real pages.
