Description
Healthvest is a website template for nutritionists, dietitians and wellness coaches, built on Bootstrap 5, with a clean, fresh green design. The layout is responsive and mobile-ready and works in all popular web browsers. It comes with seven pages: home, about, services, gallery, blog, blog post and contact.
The home page has a full-screen hero, a services strip, an about block with a counter, a services slider, a “how it works” section, a video section, a client stories slider, recent posts and an appointment form. The inner pages add the coaching team, six service cards, a photo gallery with a lightbox, a blog with comments and a sidebar, and a contact page with a working contact form and a map. Healthvest gives you a ready-made site to present your nutrition practice, your programs and your coaches.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used a Bootstrap 5 beta), compiled from Sass together with the theme, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces tiny-slider on the services and client stories sliders, PhotoSwipe replaces GLightbox in the gallery, a keyboard-operable dialog plays the video, and small built-in modules replace AOS and the counter script. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: all eight pages together went from 52.9 MB and 258 requests to 8.2 MB and 169 requests. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPEG as the fallback and real dimensions, and each page preloads its hero photo.
No third-party requests: Poppins and Prata are self-hosted, the icon fonts are replaced by Lucide SVG icons and a 1.1 KB social-logo subset (the Twitter bird is now the X logo), the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player only after a click, the contact map loads an OpenStreetMap embed only when a visitor asks for it, and a Google Analytics 4 snippet stays commented out until you add your own ID.
Accessibility: a skip link, landmarks and one main heading per page, labelled form fields and links, a visible keyboard focus ring, 44 px slider controls and text colours that meet WCAG AA contrast.
Working forms: the appointment, contact and comment forms validate in the browser and send email through an included PHP handler with a spam trap, and show the result on the page; the blog search sends its query to the blog page.
New demo content (a fictional nutrition practice with distinct coaches, client stories and blog posts), page titles, descriptions, social sharing tags and structured data, and fixes for gallery links that opened the wrong or a missing photo and for form labels that pointed at nothing.
