Finloans is a loan company website template built on Bootstrap 5. The home page has a payment calculator over a photo hero, three loan product cards, a how-it-works section, an FAQ accordion, a testimonials slider and a call to action. There are nine pages: home, loan, about, apply, FAQ, blog, a single blog post, contact and an elements page with typography, buttons, tables, a gallery and form controls.
The apply page is a working form for a loan request, the contact page has a message form and a map that loads on click, and the blog has a sidebar with search, categories, recent posts and a newsletter form. Finloans gives you a ready-made site for a lender, a loan broker or a finance blog. The loan amounts and terms are examples, not offers.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4.0 and jQuery 1.12), compiled from Sass with the Bootstrap 4 proportions the design was drawn with, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel, PhotoSwipe replaces Magnific Popup, and Lucide SVG icons replace the Flaticon, Font Awesome and Themify fonts. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: the home page went from 6.5 MB and 59 requests to 0.95 MB and 19 requests, and the contact page from 3.1 MB and 54 requests to 0.49 MB and 14 requests. Every photo has an AVIF version with a JPEG fallback, real dimensions and lazy loading below the first screen.
No third-party requests: Roboto is self-hosted, the contact map is an OpenStreetMap embed (no API key) that loads only when a visitor clicks “Show map”, and a Google Analytics 4 snippet stays commented out until you add your own ID. Before, every page loaded Google Fonts and the Google Maps script.
Working forms: the contact, apply and comment forms send through php/send-email.php and the newsletter forms through php/subscribe.php, with validation, a spam trap, visible labels and an in-page message. Before, the forms had no field names and nothing could be sent.
Accessibility: a skip link and a main landmark on every page, one h1 per page, a real menu button with a keyboard-usable side panel, names on icon links and controls, visible focus rings, reduced-motion support and text contrast of at least 4.5:1, with darker teal button fills under white labels.
Fixed and updated: the home calculator now shows an example monthly payment instead of a fixed $0, the placeholder interest and APR figures and the lorem ipsum are replaced with loan copy, the blog has loan articles, and the Elements page text is rewritten.
