A dark early-access page for an indie game, lit by a warm lantern glow, with a big split-flap countdown in the middle. Each digit card flips down when its value changes, built from four half-cards and two CSS keyframes, with no library. Below the countdown are a short pitch and an email form for the launch trailer, and the flips are replaced by instant changes when reduced motion is preferred.

It is plain HTML and CSS plus a few lines of vanilla JavaScript: no jQuery, no Bootstrap files, no plugins, and the download is 128 KB. Use it on its own, or drop it into a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project and it looks the same.

• Split-flap digits in pure CSS and vanilla JS, no library
• Flips switch to instant updates under prefers-reduced-motion or in a hidden tab
• role="timer" with a once-a-minute label; the visual digits are aria-hidden
• Countdown to 18:00 local time 21 days out, or a fixed data-launch date
• Email form with native validation and an in-place success message
