Description

A 500 error page for a logistics dashboard that explains the problem in plain words and shows the request ID, region and local time for support. The Try again button checks the server and, when it is still down, waits 5, 10, 20 and then 40 seconds between automatic retries, with a countdown ring, Retry now and Stop retrying. Beside it, a status panel lists affected components, a 30-day uptime strip and the latest incident updates, with a link to the full status page.

It is plain HTML and CSS plus a few lines of vanilla JavaScript: no jQuery, no Bootstrap files, no plugins, and the download is 205 KB. Use it on its own, or drop it into a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project and it looks the same.

  • Exponential backoff retry with countdown ring, Retry now and Stop retrying
  • State changes announced once through role="status", not every second
  • Retries pause while the tab is hidden
  • Request ID, region and local time via Intl.DateTimeFormat for support tickets
  • Status panel with component states, uptime strip and incident timeline
