Description
A dark 404 page for a developer platform, laid out as a terminal session: a curl request that returns 404, the closest matching routes and four helpful links styled as commands. At the bottom is a real prompt with a blinking block cursor that understands help, ls, cd, status, whoami, date and clear, with command history on the arrow keys. Output is written to a role="log" region so screen readers hear it.
It is plain HTML and CSS plus a few lines of vanilla JavaScript: no jQuery, no Bootstrap files, no plugins, and the download is 178 KB. Use it on its own, or drop it into a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project and it looks the same.
