Thebasketball is an HTML template for a basketball club or league website. The 12 pages are a home page with a countdown, latest results, squad, player statistics, league table, video highlights and shop, plus About, Squad, Matches, Shop, Product details, Cart, Checkout, Wish list, Blog, Blog details and Contact. It is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, so you can edit it in any editor and host it anywhere.

What’s new in 3.0

• Bootstrap 5.3.8 and vanilla JavaScript: jQuery and the old plugins are gone, sliders use Swiper 14 and icons are Lucide.
• Lighter pages: the home page now loads 1.9 MB instead of 3.5 MB, and the 13-page set 9.2 MB instead of 19.5 MB, with AVIF photos and original fallbacks.
• No third-party requests on load: Roboto and Oswald are self-hosted, the contact map loads only on click and analytics is ready but off.
• Accessibility: skip link, one h1 per page, keyboard-operable menus and search, labelled fields and axe-checked contrast.
• Working newsletter, contact, comment and checkout forms with a PHP mail handler and spam trap; cart totals and quantities update live.
• New fictional teams, players and product artwork, and a search overlay that filters the blog.
