Job Board 2 is a job board website template with eight pages: a home page with a job search, popular categories, job listings, featured candidates, top companies and testimonials; a jobs page with a filter panel; a job details page with an application form; a candidates page; a blog with a single post page; a contact page; and an elements page with buttons, forms, tables and a gallery.
The search on the home page and the filter on the jobs page are working GET forms: the jobs page reads the keyword, location, category, experience, job type and minimum salary from the address and shows the matching jobs. The layout is responsive, and the template includes a drop-down menu, a sticky header, hover effects and a click-to-load map.
What’s new in 3.0
Built with Bootstrap 5.3.8 and vanilla JavaScript: no jQuery, Swiper for the slider, Lucide icons and a self-hosted Roboto font.
Lighter pages: all pages together load 3.9 MB instead of 18.0 MB (the home page 0.7 MB instead of 2.6 MB), in 246 requests instead of 450, using AVIF images with JPG fallbacks.
No third-party requests: no font or icon CDN, and the map loads from OpenStreetMap only after a click.
Accessible: a skip link, visible focus rings, labelled form fields, keyboard-reachable menus and text contrast of at least 4.5:1.
Working forms: contact, job application, comment and newsletter forms post to a PHP mail handler with a spam trap and status messages.
Fixed: the home and jobs searches now filter the list, every link opens a real page, every page has its own title and description, and the placeholder text is replaced with job board content and fictional companies and candidates.
