Farmie is a modern, clean farming website template that is easy to use. It suits farms and agriculture, and since you can adjust it to your needs, you can use it for other projects too.
Farmie is built on Bootstrap and is SEO-friendly. It includes parallax effects, on-scroll content loading, a blog, a map and an online store with a product detail page and a slide-out cart. There is also a recipes page with category filters, a farm-to-table story, trust badges and a seasonal availability calendar.
What’s new in 3.0
Sass sources ship again (the 2.0 download left them out), and npm run build compiles and minifies the CSS and JS. Swiper 14 and Jarallax 3 replace the older versions, and a small scroll-reveal module replaces AOS.
Lighter pages: the ten pages together went from 28.2 MB and 560 requests to 10.6 MB and 284 requests. Images below the fold load lazily, the hero image is preloaded, and the logos are SVG.
No third-party requests at load: Karla is self-hosted, Font Awesome and ElegantIcons are replaced by SVG icons, the three maps (OpenStreetMap, no API key) and the demo video load only after a click, and Google Analytics is a commented-out snippet.
Working contact forms through includes/send-email.php, with validation, a spam trap and in-page messages. The newsletter and comment forms validate and confirm in the page.
Accessibility: real buttons for the menu, submenus, search and cart that work from the keyboard, one h1 per page, labelled icon links, visible focus rings and WCAG AA text contrast.
Fixed: pages no longer flash unstyled while loading, the product quantity buttons work, the closed cart no longer shows a strip at the right edge, the content no longer jumps when the header becomes sticky, and the Recipes page is in the menu.
Shop product names and cart items now match their photos, and the demo content uses fictional names and contact details.
