Dazko is a website template for gyms, strength and conditioning studios, fitness clubs and personal trainers, built on Bootstrap 5. The layout is responsive and works in all popular web browsers. It comes with eight pages: home, about, trainers, classes, schedules, news, a news post and contact.
The home page has a full-screen hero slider, an about section with counters, service cards, class cards, four pricing packages, success-story video cards, a weekly class timetable, trainer cards, a testimonial slider, recent posts and a working BMI calculator. The inner pages add a class grid, a schedule with pricing, a news list with pagination, a post page with comments and a reply form, and a contact page with a working contact form and a click-to-load map.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 5.0 beta) compiled from Sass, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces tiny-slider on the hero and testimonial sliders, a native video dialog replaces GLightbox and Plyr, and a small built-in module replaces AOS. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: the home page went from 35.3 MB and 61 requests to 2.1 MB and 48, and the download from 41.3 MB to about 5.7 MB. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPEG as the fallback, real dimensions and lazy loading.
No third-party requests: Open Sans and Roboto Condensed are self-hosted, the Flaticon, Font Awesome and Ionicons fonts are replaced by Lucide SVG icons and a small social-logo subset (the Twitter bird is now the X logo), the contact map loads from OpenStreetMap only after a click, and a Google Analytics 4 snippet stays commented out until you add your own ID.
A BMI calculator that works in the browser, in US and metric units.
Working contact and comment forms (php/send-email.php) with validation and an on-page result message.
Accessibility: skip link, landmarks, one h1 per page, named controls, visible focus rings and 4.5:1 text contrast.
New demo photos, fictional names and contact details, and fixed typos and broken links.
