Consultation is a template for consulting firms, business advisers and agencies, built on Bootstrap 5. It has eight pages: home, about, services, case studies, blog, a single blog post, contact and an elements page.
The home page opens with a full-screen hero slider and a mission box, then covers three services, the firm’s story, a services carousel, a video section, case studies and counters. The services and case study pages each list six cards, the blog has categories, tags, search and a comment form, and the contact page has a working contact form and a map that loads on click.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used a Bootstrap 5 beta and jQuery) and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper replaces Slick and Owl Carousel on the hero and services sliders, PhotoSwipe replaces Magnific Popup, and Lucide SVG icons replace the icon fonts.
Lighter pages: all eight pages together went from 12.7 MB and 434 requests to 5.4 MB and 169 requests. Photos have AVIF versions with JPEG fallbacks.
No third-party requests: the Jost and Oswald fonts are self-hosted, the map is an OpenStreetMap map that loads only when a visitor clicks it, and the video loads only when it is played.
Working forms: the contact, newsletter and blog comment forms post to included PHP handlers with validation and sending, error and success messages, and the blog search lists the matching posts.
Accessibility: a skip link, labelled controls, a keyboard-friendly menu, visible focus and text contrast of at least 4.5:1, with deeper greens for buttons and small text.
Fixes and demo content: consulting copy instead of placeholder text, distinct hero slides, services, case studies and posts, buttons and footer links that lead to their pages, and a page title, description and structured data on every page.
