Azenta is a real estate template for agencies, landlords and individual agents, built on Bootstrap 5. It has seven pages: home, property list, property details, about, news, blog post and contact. The home page opens with a fading property slider and a thumbnail strip, followed by a search form with type, status, city, bedroom and bathroom selects and price and size ranges, a how-it-works section, featured and top property sliders, a video, agents and the latest news.
The property list has a map, a search sidebar, best agents and listing cards. The property details page has a photo gallery, tabs for the overview, description and amenities, a location map, the agent’s contact card and an enquiry form. You will also find an about page with a story, testimonials and the team, a news grid, a blog post with a photo grid, comments and a comment form, and a contact page with a map and a working contact form. The layout is responsive and works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
What’s new in 3.0
Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4.4.1 and jQuery), compiled from Sass with the Bootstrap 4 proportions the design was drawn with, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel, a video dialog replaces Magnific Popup, native selects replace Nice Select and native two-handle range inputs replace the jQuery UI sliders. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
Lighter pages: the home page went from 2.4 MB and 64 requests to 1.3 MB and 43 requests, the contact page from 2.0 MB and 81 requests to 0.5 MB and 18 requests, and all pages together from 13.9 MB to 5.1 MB. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPEG as the fallback, real dimensions and lazy loading below the first screen, and the first hero photo is preloaded.
No third-party requests: Poppins is self-hosted, the three icon fonts are replaced by Lucide SVG icons and a small social-logo subset, the maps are OpenStreetMap maps (no API key needed) that load only when a visitor clicks “Show map”, the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player only after a click, and a Google Analytics 4 snippet stays commented out until you add your own ID.
Working forms: the contact form, the property enquiry form, the blog comment form and the newsletter form send through php/send-email.php, with validation, a spam trap and an in-page message. Before, none of the thirteen forms had an action or field names, so nothing could be sent. The search forms are real GET forms with named fields and real options.
Accessibility: a skip link and a main landmark on every page, one h1 per page, a real menu button with a keyboard-friendly off-canvas menu that closes with Esc, a language list that opens from the keyboard, labelled form fields and icon links, visible focus rings, a darker teal and darker greys so text and buttons pass WCAG AA contrast, scrims behind text on photos and reduced-motion support.
Photos: every photo is replaced with a licensed Unsplash photo at native resolution, the agent portraits are stock portraits, small pictures are initials avatars, and the logo and partner logos are redrawn as SVG.
Demo content: real-estate copy replaces the online-gaming and marketing filler, agents, addresses, phone numbers and email are fictional, and typos in the menu and headings are fixed.
