AutoRepair is a professional car repair website template built on Bootstrap 5 that works for all sorts of auto workshop and mechanic businesses. With its clean design, AutoRepair adapts to different objectives, even when used out of the box: add your content and you are good to go, or adapt it to your own branding. It comes with eight pages (home, about, services, projects, team, blog, blog post and contact).

In the bundle of features, you get a hero slider, calls to action, social media icons, animated statistics, an appointment form, pricing plans, a testimonial slider, a project gallery with a lightbox, a video and parallax page headers. There is also a full contact page with a working contact form and a click-to-load map. And if you would like to share car care advice with your customers, the blog is ready for it.

What’s new in 3.0

• Bootstrap 5.3.8 (the earlier release used Bootstrap 4.2.1), compiled from Sass with the original Bootstrap 4 proportions, and plain JavaScript with no jQuery. Swiper 14 replaces Owl Carousel on the hero and testimonial sliders, PhotoSwipe 5 replaces Magnific Popup on the project photos, Jarallax replaces Stellar on the page headers, the video opens in a built-in dialog, the date and time fields are the browser’s own, and small built-in modules replace Waypoints, the counter plugin and animate.css. npm run build (Dart Sass and esbuild) compiles one minified stylesheet and one script.
• Lighter pages: the home page went from 3.5 MB and 49 requests to 1.2 MB and 30 requests, and the contact page from 2.3 MB and 44 requests to 475 KB and 14 requests. Every photo has an AVIF version with the JPEG as the fallback, and the full-screen preloader is gone.
• No third-party requests: Poppins is self-hosted, the Font Awesome 4.7 and Flaticon icon fonts are replaced by Lucide SVG icons and a 1.4 KB social-logo subset, and the contact map is OpenStreetMap, loaded only when a visitor clicks “Show map”. Before, every page loaded a maps script with a sample API key. The “Watch video” buttons now play a stock car-repair clip (an unrelated agency video before), loaded only after a click.
• Working forms: the appointment and contact forms send through includes/send-email.php, with validation, a spam trap and an in-page message, and the appointment form gains an email field so you can reply. Before, the forms had no handler and no field names.
• Accessibility: a skip link, a main landmark and one h1 per page, names on icon-only links and buttons, labelled form fields, visible keyboard focus (the focus outlines were removed before) and WCAG AA text contrast, with black text and icons on the amber buttons, active menu item and contact panel, and darker shades for grey and amber text.
• Fixed: the hero slider arrows and the blog meta icons never showed (their icon fonts were not loaded), both header icons were the same arrow, the service icons did not match their services, project links led to a page that did not exist, and typos such as “Complated” are corrected.
• Demo content: the street address and the team member’s name are fictional (a real street and a historical figure before), a project photo that showed a car badge is replaced, an equipment brand name is retouched out of the page header photo, and a blog post heading about website themes now fits the car repair niche.
