A magazine-style newsletter signup set on off-white paper with near-black ink: a masthead rule, a large outlined issue numeral, a big serif headline and a single underline email field with an arrow button. The underline thickens on focus and turns red with a small italic message when the address is invalid. After subscribing, the field is replaced by a line confirming that the next issue arrives on the coming Sunday, with the date worked out from today.

It is plain HTML and CSS plus a few lines of vanilla JavaScript: no jQuery, no Bootstrap files, no plugins, and the download is 282 KB. Use it on its own, or drop it into a Bootstrap 4, 5 or 6 project and it looks the same.
