We are excited to announce that Travelify theme is now fully WPML compatible. Which makes it easier to translate it into multiple language. We received the several request for this functionality/compatibility and finally we have made it possible. Needless to say that this theme is still 100% free theme even with this built-in WPML compatibility.
Your can read more about WPML announcement on their official blog. If you are using qTranslate or other plugin then this might be the right time to switch to WPML as it will work better and is fully tested with this theme. WPML is now our plugin of choice for multilingual setup as we have used it in the past and we love it and their support is outstanding. There is not better plugin to make your WordPress website multilingual.
Travelify is a free WordPress theme now available in 14 languages by default (Thanks to our contributors!) and WPML plugin will allow to use all these languages at once. This theme originally was created for travel blogs and websites but we have seen that users have created business, portfolio, education, technology, arts and loads of other awesome websites by using this theme. It is our most downloaded theme with over 150,000 downloads and counting.
WPML is by far the most popular WordPress multilingual plugin to translate and run any WP based website in several languages. This plugin is very flexible solution with many built-in functions. You can also order translated directly via WordPress dashboard from ICanLocalize. It is run by the same team which is behind WPML itself. WPML is easy to setup and configure and you can always get support on their official support forum (support available in multiple languages). If you are ready to take your website to the next level, make sure to read more about WPML.
We haven’t properly tested our other themes with WPML and we would like if you would help us to make them WPML ready as well. Your task would be to find strings or options that can’t be properly translated and we will make sure to optimized these theme to make them work with WPML just like we did with Travelify.
