How do you get the posts to go horizontally instead of vertically? Or how many vertical posts will line up before a new column of posts begins? The site looks bare until you scroll down and see there are most posts below.
This theme is built without any width limitations so if your screen resolution is huge you will see several posts aligned horizontally. The narrowest is the screen resolution the less posts you will see horizontally.
You will always get full screen with posts no matter how wide is your screen. Here is an example of two different screen sizes.
I just checked your website and see that some plugin is conflicting with JavaScript used for post alignment. Will let you know when I will find solution for that

Just found solution. This script conflict is caused by Pinterest pin and follow buttons on your website.
There is a easy solution for that. Please see my demo site how I integrated Pinterest buttons:
