    Thank you!!!

    I’ve been talking to a plugin developer who went into the backend and put some CSS under Additional CSS. Whenever I have had issues before in the past, you guys told me to put it under Unite Options > Other. This may be why things are no longer working right. Maybe some WordPress update affected that. So I may try replacing things from the latter location to the former. I put the CSS that you just gave me in Additional CSS and it worked.

    Thank you again for your help.

    I just checked. I did not bold the main titles. So this is just the way it’s going to be going forward, I guess. I like the way it looked before when all the h1 titles were clearly purple looking.

    Hi there,

    The site is http://thegoldenpathway.org/

    I’ve included screenshots of the areas that ‘used to be’ purple. In some cases, they may appear to be purplish, but they are much darker now than they used to be. The hex color we have always used is #5e199e.

    In the screenshot called “Check These Out”, the titles are all purple, but in the other shots, you will notice they are not. Would it have anything to do with the fact that the ones in purples are all pages, while the others are posts? I don’t see why it would matter actually.

    Thank you for trying to help.

    Although I have to say that the Main titles still don’t have the same purple color they had before.

    Not sure why, but I went into customize > Unite Options > Typography and selected h1-h6 headings and they were a blackish-gray color for some reason. I put them back to #5e199e, and they changed back to what I had originally,

    Perhaps, the change to black had something to do with the latest WordPress update. Still not sure why those CSS settings didn’t remain, however.

    That’s perfect! I knew you’d find the right CSS. Thanks so much. Awesome. 🙂

    Sorry,

    Oh dear, we’re still not communicating. I’m not seeking coding for the navigation bar. That was given years ago and works fine.

    I only want CSS for the ordered/unordered lists, CSS that does not effect the navigation bar, nor the sidebar.

    If this is not possible, I will just do the changes inline.

    Thank you.

    Somehow, we are not communicating. My original request was for the CSS to have our ordered and unordered list with the following: font-size 16px and the font-color #201418. The coding that you provided, changed the CSS that Movin provided me back in 2015 to keep the menu size all on one line.

    This is the coding you gave me:
    li{
    font-size : 16px;
    color: #201418;
    display: list-item;
    text-align: -webkit-match-parent;
    }

    However, that “also” changed the menu bar so that it is not absolute, and also made the text on the sidebar too large. When I took out the following:
    display: list-item;
    text-align: -webkit-match-parent;

    Everything was fine, however, the numbers or the dots for the ordered or unordered lists stayed the same font color and font size as before.

    I am able to go in on ‘each page’ and change everything inline, but I’d prefer the CSS so I don’t have to do that.

    I hope you now understand the problem.

    Ooops. I just noticed that the coding you gave me before, however, does not work, as a result of this change. I think it was this:

    @media (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 991px) {
    ul#menu-primary-menu a {
    font-size: 11px;
    padding: 18px 11px;
    }
    }

    The intent was to keep the menu bar all on one line. I definitely need that feature back, so I’m going to remove the coding you just gave me until that can be corrected as well.

    Thank you for responding.

    At this point, I don’t want to remove the CSS that you gave me as what you provided is quite satisfactory. I just want additional CSS to cover text that is included in ordered/unordered lists. I’d like for the font size to also be 16x and the color to be #201418.

    As for the other text I referred to, I managed to go in and add <p></p> tags to the text and it changed to what I wanted. There had been some kind of wonky coding that prevented it from responding to the CSS stylesheet change. I have no idea how it got there.

    That worked like a charm. Thank you so much! 🙂

    No, sorry. That did not work.
    I tried this:
    /*Line color*/
    hr {
    border-color: #5e199e;
    }

    And this works for the internal line dividers on posts and pages, including the line with the heart. It does NOT work for the line that is under each post title nor the lines on the sidebar.

    Thank you for the code. Thirty pixels were HUGE. I changed it to 16 and that was perfect! 🙂

    Ah, dratz! No, that didn’t work. Another idea?
