Thanks, Aigars! I wasn’t complaining about the previous error not being updated yet (the workaround provided here is working fine 🙂 ). I’m actually more concerned about the new error that started with the 1.9.1 update, where the buttons now contain code.

Anyway I have replaced the image.php with the new one you suggested from Github, and it has resolved the new issue (code displayed in buttons), but not the original issue (wide buttons spanning the page width). However the original workaround (the extra CSS) is still working to address the wide buttons, so both issues are resolved now :).

Thanks again, really appreciate the support you provide here! I agree with the previous poster who suggested if there were a way to contribute $$ for the support we provide, I’d do so too.

Thank you Movin, the code you suggested fixed the button width. I did also notice now the buttons are “hollow” (just an outside border instead of solid color), whereas previously I was able to make them solid color using the following code. But at least they are normal button width now, so that is a big help.

    Thanks very much!

Thanks again Aigars! The code you suggested did indeed change the button text color. I’ll poke around more to see if I can also change the button color. And I’ll refer to your other suggestions to see what I can do to optimize these pages.

Thanks very much for your help. The support you provide here at no charge exceeds what one often gets for a paid product.

Hi – thanks very much for the info! I was able to successfully remove the Comment fields, and the Date & author name. I’m still having an issue with the Prev/Next buttons. One issue is that although I set the Theme Options -> Main -> Element Color, the hover color took effect, but not the primary element color.

The other oddity with those buttons (I think a WP issue?) is that as I scroll thru next/back, I see photos that are in the image library, not just ones from that specific page. In the example below, if I next/back, I’d only expect to see Tole Trays, not other products, the header image, etc. The same behavior occurs if I click on the product image too. In the ideal world, none of that would happen, and I could just add a “back” button to take me up a level to the prior page. But I doubt this is a theme issue, just a WP thing.

I’m also noticing the image isn’t centered in the page. It should actually display much higher on the page, and be centered horizontally. If you view this page you’ll see what I’m describing.

    1. initial page: http://test.habitatinternational.com/tole-trays
    2. and if you click on one of the trays, you’ll see the attachment page with the issues I described, like this: http://test.habitatinternational.com/?attachment_id=34

If you do have any thoughts on how I can correct these issues (well only the Theme-related ones, like the button colors) it would be much appreciated. I’m exploring gallery plug-ins but this project is on a limited budget so …

    🙂 thanks again, much appreciated!

Hi – Not to hijack, but on a closely related note, I’ve noticed that with certain browser widths, with the “Theme by” and “Powered by” text in its default configuration, the formatting isn’t aligned. What I see is the word “WordPress” underneath “Powered by”.

This seems to happen with a browser width between approx 989 and 1186 (using Safari on Mac OS 10.10.3). It’s fine with a wider or narrower browser width.

Probably not the highest priority, but something to note :).

Hi – Is there something like this to also change the background color in the sidebar? Thanks!

p.s. (can’t edit the post) … actually I see the above changed the font both of the top nav header/title, and it changed the font of the Menu items in the top nav. Is there a way to change the size of the menu items independently from the Title?

On a related topic, I’ve adjusted all the font colors on the Blog and header, etc. However when I create a new Page (like “About”) the colors there are at the default. Did I overlook another setting for these?

My fledgling blog page is at http://billheiser.com/blog for reference.

    Thanks again!

Hi – Thanks for sharing these details. Is it possible to make the same kind of adjustments for the Menu (in the top nav bar)?

    Thanks in advance!
