I’m trying to use illdy theme and under the posts there is no next or prev pagination links.
I even tried some plugins to add the links and they do not work either.
Is this function not part of your theme? might there be a way to turn this on or add it through code?
Really like the theme and I would appreciate any help on this issue.

I suspect that you might not have enough post in your blog post listing to have 2 pages of posts, therefore the navigation system is not showing yet.
You should have a look in Dashboard > Settings and change the post count number and give it another try.
Let me know if you got everything alright.October 17, 2016 at 9:10 pm #74570
Thanks for the reply.
I have three post per page and the “next” page numbers are displaying and working.
However, when you go into a post to read it the Next and Previous links at the bottom of the post are not displaying. this is what I am trying to fix so users can click on “next” and go to the next post.
Any help would be appreciated.

The site is http://www.partingnote.com
If you go into a post you will see that there are no next or previous links under the post to go to the next post.
Thanks for looking into it!

I cannot see any of the element that you are looking for in the demo page.
Can you please provide me a screenshot of what you want to activate exactly on your single blog posts?
Sorry for this back and forth, but I can really see no next or previous buttons on our demo page and it’s quite unclear.
Looking forward to it.

Sorry for any confusion on this issue and I appreciate you getting back to me but don’t want to take anymore of your time.
The theme demo does not show next or previous post links under posts like most WordPress themes do.
My question was, is this by design, which i’m assuming it is, and can code be added to display the links like most WP themes?
I’m just trying to find an easy way for users to go to the next post when reading a post (other then the related posts slider).
I’ve attached a screen shot of another theme that displays the links under every post.
There are a few plugins that add that functionality but even these don’t work in your themes.
Thanks again for your time on this issue.

I’m sorry but I don’t have any previous experience with such plugins, and if you’d ask me this would come with some extended custom coding into the core files, so I cannot really assist you with the request.
